Andrew's Devastating Video of Russell Kelly and Tithing

Andrew’s Video with Russell Kelly on Tithi

February 20, 2025

1. Andrew discussed tithing on false pretenses. He is SDA and we met to discuss my book, Exposing Seventh-day Adventism.

2. Watch the entire video and your questions will be answered, or contact me with your questions at russkellyphd@yahoo.com.

3. Chapter One is The Origins of Tithing. Page 6 quotes the pagan origins found in the Encyclopedia of Religion and the Westminster Dictionary of the Bible. In Babylon they were 6%.

4. Chapter 2, page 17 quotes the Southern Baptist Wycliffe Bible Commentary which agrees that the historical Melchizedek was a pagan Canaanite priest-king. The New Bible Commentary and Matthew Henry Commentary agree. It is well-known that Canaanites practiced child sacrifices.

5. I explained to Andrew why I asked for the mike to be silenced. While the denomination of the church I attended teaches tithing, the pastor of that church agrees with me. Each church is independent and formulates its own doctrines.

6. Andrew was confused by my explanation of Hebrews 7:8 in chapter 19. Although Christ had died years before the writing of Hebrews, Levites were still receiving tithes in the temple and Christ was in their loins.
