SINS IN THE N.T. AFTER CALVARY
Compiled
by Russell Earl Kelly, PHD, 3-10-2017
There
are a bare minimum of FIFTY-EIGHT (58) sins other than the Ten Commandments
listed in the New Testament after Calvary for the Church. Surprisingly for
Seventh-day Adventists, “sabbath-breaking” is not among them --- neither is
robbing God of tithes.

SIN
BEFORE THE LAW OR OUTSIDE THE FOMAL LAW
John
1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the
world.
Jn
1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him
not.
Rom
1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom
1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath
shewed it unto them.
Rom
1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly
seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and
Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
Rom
1:21 Because that, when they knew God
Rom
1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image
Rom
1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie
Rom
1:27 leaving the natural use of the woman
Rom
1:28 as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge
Rom
1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are
worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Rom
2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things
contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Rom
2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience
also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else
excusing one another;)
Rom
2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ
according to my gospel.
Rom
5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin
entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all
men, for that all have sinned:
Rom
5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there
is no law. [see verse 20]
Rom
5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from
Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of
Adam's transgression … [partial ignorance]
Rom
5:15 … for if through the offence of one many be dead …
Rom
5:16 … for the judgment was by one to condemnation …
Rom
5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one …
Rom
5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to
condemnation …
Rom
5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners …
Rom
5:20 Moreover the law entered, that
the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more
abound:
Rom
5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death …

Gal
3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions,
till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by
angels in the hand of a mediator.
